9. Choose location and time setting
10. Input Password for user root
11. choose installation that u want
Use All Spaces –> using all space in harddisk.(if there are a installation OS windows in the hard disk, it will being clean and will replace by OS RHEL6)
Replace Existing Linux System –> Replace all previous existing linux data. If there are no any previous linux data, the installation will do in left space.
Shrink Current System –> shrink the partition that contain OS so it will create a free space that can be used to be installed OS RHEL6
Use Free Space –> use a left space.
Create custom Layout –> do installation with control size partition manually
If you choose option Create Custom Layout, Below is the example for the configuration
If you choose another option, skip no 12-16
12. In this case, I have hard disk with space 20 GB.
This is the allocation for the partition:
/boot –> 256 M
/home –> 2048 M
Logical Volume:
/ –> 8000 M
swap –> 2048 M
/data –> 8000 M (optional)
In this case, i choose using logical volume partition because the logical volume is dynamic. so it we can control the size.
First step is click Create, Choose Standart Partition,
13. make /boot with type filesystem ext4 with size 256 M.
and /home with type filesystem ext4 with size 2048 M

14. Click Create, choose LVM Physical Logical Volume. to create a partition logical Volume. (dinamis)

15. If LVM physical volume already created, we can create4 a new partition in group.
choose Add and choose the filesystem with the path.

16. Below is the example for result allocation for the partition
